Verama is an online platform offering contract jobs for IT Professionals in Europe, mainly Nordics, and Poland. Suppliers can easily find jobs matching their consultants’ skill sets, manage their profiles and communicate with recruiters.

The project started as a concept in March 2020 and was led by me in terms of design until May 2022. A small team has built the mobile app for both Android and iOS using React Native – most of the time it consisted of only 2 developers and me as a designer. Currently, the app is used by a few thousand users every month.

The application offers almost all the features, which Verama Supplier Portal web app does: as a supplier, you can search for new contract jobs and manage a team of consultants.

As for the MVP, we started by allowing users to only browse and apply for jobs, but over time we have added more features, eg.: push notifications about new jobs matching users’ skillset, consultants team management, or chat with recruiters.

The biggest challenge for me was the constant change of priorities, which was slowing the team's velocity down and making every decision harder.
